A Way to Help

When we had our meeting with the social worker here at Vanderbilt for the initial approval, she said now is not the time to say no. She said if someone offered any help, now is the time to take it. I think I needed to hear that. It’s hard to ask for help even in situations like ours. We are now in desperate need of help. Transitioning to Nashville has been the most significant undertaking we have ever made for Amanda’s health. I say that after we previously traveled back and forth to Cleveland for care for years. The few months we spent there one time will pale in comparison to what we face now. Many things have lined up, many doors opened, for us to be in Nashville. We have never done a GoFundMe campaign before, but after urging from friends, one has been created. Any help is appreciated, whether that be giving, sharing, or simply praying.
